Websites

Every name gets a website built from its records with the shared GeoCities template. Change a record and the website changes too. There is nothing to deploy.

Sepolia testnet preview (chain id 11155111). Every name is a test name and may be reset.

Where it lives

• The siteUrl in the sign-up claim: https://geocities.si/<label>/, for example geocities.si/cto/. Each profile has a generated llms.txt at https://geocities.si/<label>/llms.txt, built from the name's records, and a share image at https://geocities.si/<label>/og.png. How to opt out.

What it shows

The avatar and banner, the label as the heading with the full .eth name under it, the nickname, the bio, the website and location, social links, and your other records grouped under headings. The app's Profile tab uses the same renderer. The checkmark shows only when the primary name is set. See Keys: accepted and displayed today.

Tab paths

These paths are the name, not a child name. email, wallet and agent stop the path after at least one label.

A nested name reverses the labels: https://geocities.si/b/a/email/ is a.b.geocities.eth. /agent/ as the first segment stays a reserved 404. Alias tags email, wallet and agent are 409 alias_tag_reserved. Per-name llms.txt lists Home, Email (omitted when mail.enabled is 0), Wallet, and Agent (only when geocities.agent is set). The shared template still serves one page at each of those paths. The icon bar on a public site is Pay, then Share. In the app, Edit profile is the main button on your own name.

Search

GeoCities Search indexes GeoCities sites only, from the home page and the JSON search API.

Shared template

Every *.geocities.eth name serves the shared GeoCities template, filled in from its records. There is no per-name site upload in Settings. Clients cannot set the site pointer as a record (400 reserved_key).

https://geocities.si/<label>/ is that shared template. Change a record and the page changes with it. There is nothing to upload.
